Woodchips
At Woodchips Pediatric Therapy, we believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, confidence, imagination, and play.
Every block stacked, every swing taken, every paintbrush held, and every tiny accomplishment is another step toward building a stronger future.
Woodchips was created by the team at Sawdust Occupational Therapy to give young children a place where therapy feels natural, engaging, and exciting. Our goal isn't simply to help children reach developmental milestones, we want them to enjoy the journey while building confidence in themselves.
Whether your child is learning to regulate emotions, improve coordination, communicate, or become more independent, our therapists meet them exactly where they are and help them grow through meaningful experiences they'll actually look forward to.
About Woodchips
Woodchips specializes in pediatric occupational and speech therapy for children from infancy through early elementary years.
Every child develops differently. Some need a little extra support with sensory processing, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, feeding, communication, or everyday routines. That's where we come in.
Rather than focusing on worksheets or repetitive exercises, we create purposeful play experiences that help children develop the skills they need for everyday life.
Our environment was intentionally designed to feel warm, welcoming, and adventurous, not clinical. From sensory exploration to imaginative play, every room encourages children to learn through doing.

A Day at Woodchips
Every visit is a little different because every child is different. Your child's therapist designs each session around their individual goals while following their interests and strengths.
During a visit your child may...
-
Build confidence climbing, swinging, balancing, and exploring in our Timber Fort sensory gym.
-
Create art, crafts, and hands-on activities inside the Chip Shop.
-
Practice calming strategies in the Woodland Hearth quiet room.
-
Explore sensory experiences in Starlight Cove.
-
Strengthen fine motor, visual motor, self-care, feeding, and social skills through purposeful play.
-
Work alongside their therapist in activities that feel like childhood—not therapy.
Parents are kept involved throughout the process with education, home strategies, and regular communication so progress continues long after each session ends.
Why Families Choose Woodchips
Because we're building more than skills.
We're building confidence.
We're building independence.
We're building friendships.
We're building resilience.
We're building futures.
Every child deserves a place where they're celebrated for who they are while being encouraged to become who they're capable of becoming.
That's what Woodchips is all about.
